Who says takeaway Indian food cannot be delivered hot?
As such as I hate to admit it, food delivery services are a boon On days when I am too tired to even look at my stove and think of a recipe to coook up - despite the number of glossy food magazines stacked on my bookshelf - I get pizza.
However, I have never had Indian food delivered. I used to assume that by the timeit arrives I would have to reheat it, which really defetas the point of having it delivered in first place.
Not with Brinda's. I ordered a working lunch for myself and five colleagues recently that included four curries, naan, parathas, capatis, a serve of fish tikka and jeera rice.
For free delivery, which is available islandwide, you have to order a minimum of $25.
I asked for the food to be deliverd at 1pm but Brinda's customer service person said to expect it between 1 and 1.30pm. I think he was being very cautious because, to my surprise, a friendly chap named Aurn delivered teh food at 12.30pm.
